Re: Some new photos for Herr GENERALISSIMO !

Hmm. I live in Zsombo, next to Szeged on the Great Hungarian Plain. We have no mountains, no forests around here, so these pictures are really joy to see. Thx!

Re: Some new photos for Herr GENERALISSIMO !

Beautiful pictures! I was rafting across lake Saint Anna about 1970 or 71. It was my first traveling abroad. A chessfriend of my father invited our family to Miercurea Ciuc. Great memories :)
Thx!

Re: A few positions to test movegen

PyChess own engine passed all test. Thx Martin! Congratulations Bajusz :) You can try the positions posted by Volker too as they are useful to those who manage rook moved flags instead of castling rights. You're welcome. Martin PyChess manages castling rights, but run the test with Volker's positio...

Re: Legal Reverse engineering of software

Many are using the term RE (reverse engineering) improperly, thus confusing the issues. Legal RE is a process not a task. If you cut the process short and stop with the task, it is illegal. Legal Process of RE: 1) Hire a software engineer to disassemble and decompile a binary executable. 2) The sam...

Re: Legal Reverse engineering of software

Sorry, but it is totally false (at least in EU). The RE of a software is only allowed in two, limited, cases: I'm totally sick of this EU bullshit. What if the guy who does RE (disassembling of a software) is from Russia or China and then publishes his findings on the internet. What does glorious E...

Re: I think I'm leaving Chess for good

Chess is art, sport and science, all in one. If you don't want to hurt any real opponent, you can play against engines, or you can study chess puzzles. You don't _have to_ spend any money to best chess software except you are a lead professional chess player. If you are an amateur or club level OTB ...
