Re: Sacrifice of two pawns of Lc0 opening lines on his own king

Do you have a program that annotates your games? For example where it would say " great move mate in 19 or better would be such and such move."? Yes, of course. Do you have interest in some particular game? The last 2 games. The anaconda and the fast loss for lco. Thanks. The games were analized in...

Re: Sacrifice of two pawns of Lc0 opening lines on his own king

I am glad you are using the cerebellum book. If lcz is edging out SF with cerebellum even while making blunders every now and than this could be the moment when lco surpasses SF. Now I cant help but wonder how SF would do with 16 cores or more powerful hardware. In the event I am running, Lc0 41765...

Re: Sacrifice of two pawns of Lc0 opening lines on his own king

The positional understanding of Lc0 is outstanding, but the the serious tactical errors by Lc0 continue. In the following game Lc0 41765 on RTX2070 against BrainFish 2019 on i7 4790S 8 cores at 15 minutes plus 3 seconds ponder off, Lc0 blunders badly. The squares e8 and e1 are key in this game. Firs...

Sacrifice of two pawns of Lc0 opening lines on his own king

This game is part of a match between Lc0 41749 on GTX1060 3 Gb of RAM against Brainfish with 2019 book (Cerebellum light Book with best move activated) on 4 cores of i7 980X, ponder on and 6 pieces syzygy tablebases at 25 minutes plus 10 seconds. The initial positions are from Balsa25Top and 50 game...

Re: Lc0 wins, but Stockfish is still the best?

This gives Lc0 a huge hardware price advantage. On my testing system. I run a 16 core CPU for $799. At the same time Lc0 plays on a $1500 RTX 2080 ti. Is Lc0 better, yes but Lc0 needs every bit of the 2080 ti. And at almost twice the price to best Stockfish. You can easily find an RTX 2080ti in $12...

Re: Lc0 wins, but Stockfish is still the best?

This is not true. I have made the following experiment. Using the pgn Balsa25Top, Lc0 without book and BrainFish with Cerebellum light Book with best move activated. So that the pgn positions provide variety and the book of BrainFish avoid opening errors by Stockfish. From the pgn positions BrainFi...
