Javier, what sort of nps ratios do these give?
At initial position GTX 2x 1060 about 6000-7000 nps

RTX 2070 about 20.000-30.000

Stockfish 10 Strikes Back

The appearance of Alpha Zero a year ago made the world of computer chess tremble with its victory over Stockfish 8. Then Leela Chess Zero appeared and gave us the possibility to have NN chess programs in our personal computers. During this time the Stockfish team has continued working well and has d...

How to analyze a game with MultiPV?

If anyone knows of a program that automatically analyzes a game with multiPV adding the lines and evaluations to pgn, I would appreciate the information.

Re: Alphazero news

And 3) Book saves time. That is true. This can be compensated for by giving Lc0 more time so that when SF comes out of book, they have roughly equal time left. the main effect againt Lc0 is not the quality of the book moves, but their diversity which allows to put Lc0 in less familiar to it positio...

Re: Great coincidence

I repeat the last game with my new RTX-2070 and the surprise appeared! Lc0 with the same version 0.19.1.1, same net 11261, same settings NNcahe=2000000, minibatch=512, didn't play 13.Ne7! It would be interesting that someone try other processors to see if the analysis is different. I repeat the anal...

Great coincidence

Analyzing the game Stockfish8-AlphaZero recently published with the Dutch Defense Leningrad using the CCCC openings, I realized the great coincidence between the moves of A0 and the analysis of Lc0 version 11261, so I played the next game at 90 minutes plus 30 seconds. Stockfish played with 6 logica...
