Re: DeepMinds AlphaZero Analysis Of World Champs 2018!

I have analyzed the movements with lc0 11261 thinking in multivariate mode using from 30 seconds to 1 minute and recording the analysis to the game under Chessbase gui with kibitzer Mode, that unfortunately doesn't add times.

Re: DeepMinds AlphaZero Analysis Of World Champs 2018!

Very interesting to know that AlphaZero is again in action!! But more interesting for us is that the evaluations and analysis of AlphaZero are very similar to the Leela Chess Zero one's in game 1. Here are the evaluation by lc0_11261 of the first game, following the analysis of Sadler and AlphaZero....

Are the issues with the CPU version fixed?

Re: Lc0 v0.19.0 has been released

Hi Graham, not sure this would help, but make sure you updated the dlls with the ones provided in the zip file. Some updates occured with v.0.18 and I thought a while this CPU version was buggy (unexpected crashes without explicit error message) - restored once I noticed the dll updates (and previo...

Re: Comparing Leela Chess Zero with AlphaZero

Interesting test, thanks for sharing. My impressions are similar. I find Leela strong in complex early middlegame positions, but perhaps the most striking feature is the ability to seize on a permanent pawn structure weakness, often around the enemy king. In many such games Leela plays as if on aut...

Re: Knights at g5 h5 by lc0

... The statistics corroborate your theory Very interesting ! But now I wonder, and why didn't I think of this before ? ---> In the famed 10 released games AlphaZero vs. SF8, a few remarkable moves by AlphaZero were found and analysed. Does Lc0 now find any of these moves ? Well, Alpha0 had an impa...
