Thanks Dan. I went to 3 or 4 of those today but engines are banned. I'll try the others. Chessbase is also a possibility.

But after a few years you must repeat the cycle or you fall behind. Dann, I believe your right. You get a new cell every year because the new one is sooo much better than the old one. An 18-core 2697 v4 seemed sooo good 4 years ago and now it's mediocre. TCEC has used dual 2699 v4 for several years...

I have a friend like that. Just what I thought! He's obviously an intel Fanboy. Which means he thinks everyone should speed $2000 on an Intel CPU.
