Re: Empirical results with Lazy SMP, YBWC, DTS

Would be interesting to see how they behave on really high number of cores, like 32 or 64 cored server. Does DTS still scales well?

Re: Scorpio EGBB Segfault

Edit: On a second test I managed to get a segfault. The cache_size should be in bytes so changing the 1 to 4194304 for a 4MB cache fixes it. Also, reloading with a 1 byte cache does not cause a problem anymore. So make sure you are giving it an appropriately sized cache. Gotcha! Cache size was in m...

Re: Scorpio EGBB Segfault

For "probe_egbb_xmen" treat the kings like the other pieces. Try: case WK: ADD_PIECE(WKing); break; case BK: ADD_PIECE(BKing); break; oups! sorry for false alert. I just forgot to turn EGBB usage on. There is no difference between what is done and ADD_PIECE, except that in my code w...

Average throughput: 31,579 results/day
Does that mean that you'll need about 6-9 years to finish?

Re: Scorpio EGBB Segfault

That is all from me for now. One more thing, use the latest egbb files. Try the latest 4-men here for example. But use the latest egbbdll. https://sites.google.com/site/dshawul/home Yeah, I'm using latest ones, exactly from this site. The exact values are: egbb_piece == [1,7,3,0....] egbb_square ==...

Re: Scorpio EGBB Segfault

Do you have a chess position where seg-fault is triggered? I'm pretty sure it fails any time it calls the function. For example: 2R5/8/8/4k3/8/8/6K1/8 w - - Those are arrays I want to see its size. They are not shown in your first post. What is the value of this MAX_PIECES? const int16_t MAX_PIECES...
