The 10th engine could be e.g. "other" and represent the best left-over engine. Obviously, this would need to be done for same, or simila...

Re: Komodo wins TCEC

Great win for Komodo, the soundest performer throughout season 7. Kudos to its developers and also to the SF team, for being such a strong opponent and also for what someone called "exciting swashbuckling style" :) Engines still present us with some incomprehensible rook and king moves, together wit...

Re: TCEC Season 7 - Main Thread

Komodo seemed to play really well in that format. I was shocked at how many wins Gull managed against SF and Houdini! Komodo seemed to have the most balanced play between attack and defense and felt like it had the best evaluation or idea of what was going on. But SF seemed to be playing way below ...

Re: SF novelty 10 g4!

SF did a similar move in a velimirovic sicilian as black. Sacked b5 for space. K handled it well though.

Re: Komodo 8 vs Stockfish dev’s (sept14)

It is clear from the blitz (40/4) lists of CCRL and CEGT that SF5 and K8 are very close, with a slight edge to SF, so it's no surprise that newest SF, which is supposedly +23 over SF5 according to SF website, should beat K8 at blitz levels. But at the main levels of these two lists (40/40 and 40/20...

K just rocketing off the lead. If the trend continues, this is going to be very lopsided :D
