Re: Arena book for engine tournaments

Which is the best book for engine tournaments under arena. There is mainbook.abk and a superbook by dan corbit but is there a perfect.abk ? The perfect.ctg seems to be used by various testers but is that the best for engines? It is made from human GM games and so does not utilize the engine-engine ...

Okay Harvey, Can you fill me in on the details of what happened? Thanks in advance! Ted Summers That was it sys op arrived in room - made this comment and left. What do you expect from Holger Lieske? Re: ChessBase have read the letter!

Hi Harvey, thank you for qouting H. Lieskes statement. But: H. Lieske is H. Lieske and not chessbase. Okay, he's sys op for chessbase, but first of all he his H. Lieske. Re: Go Quickly and Quietly.....Shut the door after you......

With the amount of time Thomas put into Toga, by now he would have an original engine if that time had been spent in a more productive way. It's quite simple really. Some want an easy way to the top. That is completely unfair to the all those original engine programmers out there. Regards Christopher

Or the CCCCC for short......is devoted to bringing you the best at this years WCCC. Never let it be said that a former world champion chess engine should not participate because a mere ocean is in the way. So much so that the donation fund has reached the 25 euro entry fee and not before time. June...
