Re: LC0 For Android!!! History Made!!

Hi, thanks for the links. This one works without any issue in my old config: Android 4.1.2, CFA 5.2.5 & DroidFish 1.53 DD.
Thanks as well to DKappe for the distilled NW that make performance acceptable!

Re: A burning question

Hi, I also use a laptop - usually reaching no more than 72-74°C at full CPU usage; but during hot summer time I use Battle Encoder Shirazé to throttle chess engines. A very efficient tool; can also be used to tune some emulators speed, or to save some CPU available for your own use while running a t...

Re: Leela on a weak pc, question

Hi for CPU use I would suggest, worth a try: lc0 >= 0.17 to allow ponder on scs 64x8 network run1 550000 steps ( link ). Not too large for speed sake, but skilled enough. So well balanced... Re: Lc0 v0.19.0 has been released

Hi Graham, not sure this would help, but make sure you updated the dlls with the ones provided in the zip file. Some updates occured with v.0.18 and I thought a while this CPU version was buggy (unexpected crashes without explicit error message) - restored once I noticed the dll updates (and previou...

Re: Leela endgame training?

Hi, as far as I could understand training for 3xxxx NN continues to input whole contributors games (no change here) but substitutes the 5men endgame TB evaluation once such a position is reached for an early accurate and definitive result, not blurred by further randomness (temperature) or lack of k...

Re: Schooner 2

Thanks Dennis for sharing Schooner 2. I report a strange behavior, setting ponder on in sc.ini (running as Winboard engine, using Arena or Winboard): pondering occurs but appears not to trigger an unlimited analysis (stops after roughly getting to similar time and depth as a move turn); in addition ...

Re: Scorpio MCTS+NN: What are the strongest nets?

Hi Daniel,
thanks for sharing Scorpio MCTS.
I run it fine using epd NN (downloaded from Github: Scorpio/releases), but could not find ccrl NN?
Both links to NN in your home page seem to be currently broken.
