Re: CCT

I am no longer the owner of CCTChess.com, so anything on that site has nothing to do with me. I also no longer own kikrtech.com, so if anyone gets emails from support@kikrtech.com pretending to be me (I've been told this is happening), it's not. I dropped over 30 domains that I was doing nothing wit...

Re: Crafty 24.0

Crafty can be compiled with MSVC. I use the 2008 Express edition. 64 bit support works. You may have to download a stdint.h and tweak some things a bit. The executables are not as fast as some profiled builds, but still ok. Command line args: /O2 /Ob2 /Oi /Ot /Oy /GT /GL /D "WIN32" /D "_DEBUG" /D "...

Re: SedatChess site is moving to a new server!

I've hosted several chess websites for years at zero cost other than your domain renewals.

If you'd like, I can host your site.

Re: Why we still need polyglot.ini ?

I use Polyglot with Winboard to run engines. Rarely do I use anything else. When I do it's the Hiarcs interface. I haven't touched Arena since my run in with that team several years ago. It could possibly be the best, most advanced interface on the planet, but I'd never use it again. Even now, if yo...

Re: ICC + timestamp

I've been considering a hard switch to Mac for some time now. There's just something about Windows (I can't put my foot on it exactly) that I no longer like. I just feel like my data isn't secure, mine.. it's hard to explain. This process of getting 24.0 ready for release and the issues I'm still ha...

Can you both try this version for me? http://www.kikrtech.com/crafty-23.9-winxpx64.exe.zip Peter Same error message... Ok then I suspect that MS has broken something, or is doing something fishy. That build was built the _identical_ way that 23.8 was built, and that works for Ray. I will figure thi...

Re: Crafty 24.0

No, it does not. Please verify that both the operating system and the processor support Intel(R) X87, CMOV, MMX, FXSAVE, SSE, SSE2 and SSE3 instructions. The processor supports all of those. Ok, let me look into this. I honestly don't know what the issue could be, as you are the only one having a p...

I said open it IN a command window.. does that work?
