Re: 8 engine, 8CPU, octo roundrobin 40/40 tournament

At the halfway point and Komodo has a 2 point lead over the next closest engine. Stockfish-YBW has a tiny lead over Stockfish-Lazy for the #2 spot. Houdini with contempt 0 seems much less of a punching bag to K and SF. Andscacs continues its impressive showing and may be a breakout surprise for TCEC...

Re: 8 engine, 8CPU, octo roundrobin 40/40 tournament

I'd like to run this again with new versions of Texel, Ginkgo, Fritz and Hannibal after this one concludes.

8 engine, 8CPU, octo roundrobin 40/40 tournament

These are approximately the top 8 actively developed engines with Houdini and Gull thrown in as gatekeepers/benchmarks. SF-YBW representative included as well. Nice result for the latest Andscacs so far. Intel i7 5960X @ 4.5Ghz 8GB hash Syzygy 6-man EGTB (Protector with 5-man Nalimov) Ponder off Bar...

Re: Gull 3 Linux+Syzygy and Fathom released.

I checked task manager and saw disk I/O from all of the threads, so I assume tb probing is working.

And yes, it seems to have difficulties running in ChessGUI, but Arena is fine.

Re: Gull 3 Linux+Syzygy and Fathom released.

Has anyone been able to get the new Windows binary to work properly? Gull loads and runs fun but it doesn't detect the Syzygy bases nor does it report any TB hits.

Your results are very strange.
YBW should be 60 Elo above SF 6 at least.
