I'm not 100% sure these compiles really work on Windows machine without additional DLL. Let me know.

Re: Sapeli 1.0 - New chess engine

Great, thank you for the prompt action, Toni. The new code works a treat! Here are POPCNT and SSE3 builds for v1.02, with a minor modification. Mediafire: sapeli-102-tp.zip Filedropper: sapeli-102-tp.zip Since you were so nice about it I decided to meet you halfway and hacked in a new UCI option, "W...

Re: Sapeli 1.0 - New chess engine

Some would say reporting the score from white's point of view is a feature, not a bug. It is a bug if the engine is UCI. The UCI specs are clear on this: * score * cp <x> the score from the engine's point of view in centipawns. Of course, many GUIs can handle this as an engine-specific option, Many...

Re: Sapeli 1.0 - New chess engine

Re: Finally we have a strong version of Scorpio....

Finally we have a Valley Girl of our own.... CCC has been kind of boring since Lyudmil retired, so please accept my thanks for putting a smile on my face every now and then, Nancy. Hint: Scorpio was strong ten years before you signed up here. Not that you should bother your pretty little head with s...

Only Gary Kasparov can beat the top chess computer? No. Many of us can beat the best machines. O Father, thy name be legion! Pro tip: you need a number in the Round field of the PGN tag section for the PGN to display properly. Although, given the nature of these games, perhaps it's best to leave th...

I've kept my own CCW errata list: Top of page, Abbreviations section: Fishcher Random Chess -> Fischer Random Chess Andscacs no Syzygy support Ares "GB" refers to Graham Banks, not Gigabyte (as the tooltip says) BACE Dann Corbit's compile of 0.46 is available: http://talkchess.com/forum3/download/fi...
