Re: Further progress on new move generator

In the example of 75 mln. nodes/sec you gave above you forgot to mention what kind of CPU you tested this on, this is not very useful either. That's why I posted the code, and I should have also posted how to compile it. After downloading the lc0 code from github and saving that code into lc0/src/c...

Re: Further progress on new move generator

And this is a strawman argument. You changed the argument from is one faster than the other to did you count nodes properly. Well, if both count nodes in the same way and the table lookup is faster, which I can also demonstrate, your argument is non sequitur. It is not my intention at all to sugges...

Re: SCID 4.7

Another question: How can I create an epd file? When I click on New... I only get two options under "save as type", si4 and pgn, but the wiki says it's possible to create new epd files. At the moment it is not possible to create epd files. It is not a difficult feature to add, I only wonder what th...

How do you print a game from Scid? Thanks!
Direct printing is not possible.
It is necessary to export one or more games to a .html (or LaTeX, advanced) file and the print it:

Re: SCID 4.7

Hello friends! Is it possible to add my OWN photos to the database? HOW??? Peter :D Yes, add a new file my_photos.spf inside the directory "photos". Then open that file with a text editor and add base64-encoded GIF images, sized around 80x100 pixels in this way: photo "Surname, name" { base64_encod...

Re: SCID 4.7

I'm using a multi-monitor setup on Windows 10. I'm curious if anyone else gets this error, or if anyone has experienced this kind of thing on other programs and has come up with a fix. Advice is much welcome. Thanks for reporting the bug, I'll look into it. As a temporary fix you can delete the lin...

Re: SCID 4.7

Hey, I really like this new version! Sadly, whenever I resize the window it lags behind by some seconds (using Win10). Do you know how I could fix this? Hi, thanks for trying the new version. I tried to reproduce the behavior (installed SCID4.7, resized and maximized the window) on a couple of Win1...

Re: SCID 4.7

Thanks Fulvio, please is it possible to compile and post the macOS binary for the mac-users, who are not programmers? I do not own a macOS machine and therefore I can not do it. Maybe someone else will compile a binary version and make it available. PS: Is it possible to analyse a position simultan...

Re: SCID 4.7

How do you flip the board on Scid 4.7? First clicking on the "hamburger button" ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamburger_button ) under the board and then clicking on "rotate". Can the analysis engine line font be changed to something bigger? Yes, selecting the menu "options" -> "fonts" -> "fixed".
