Hi, Maybe a strange question but what thing can happen for the first time in a game? E.g. castling or en-passant or whatever. Do you mean "What can happen _only once_ in a game"? If so, I believe only castling(once per side), checkmate and stalemate can happen once in a game. A double pawn move can...

I think it was because WyldChess(WB mode) replies to any unrecognized command with "Illegal move: <unrecognized input>" I changed it to "ERROR (unsupported): <unrecognized input>" to comply with http://www.open-aurec.com/wbforum/WinBoard/engine-intf.html#9 . The version on the list was a development version, it had tons of bugs and less evaluation. Most memorable bug i had was performing internal iterative deepening but not using the result :lol:
