My most sincere congratulations, also in the name of the chess people of Sardinia. This second title looks decidedly more important than the first!

Re: asmFish update - all flavors of OS

See the release page for details, binaries and source: https://github.com/MichaelB7/asmFish/releases/tag/01202018 I eventually found some time to test it with analyses. It's excellent, congrats. :D A pity I can't use it for correspondence games analysis... It would have been perfect! I noticed a po...

Re: Permanent Hash/Position Learning

If ProDeo can get a 51% performance against Komodo on the CCRL from the opening positions that they test, even though it would perform the same against the rest, I say, let them. Not exactly, IMO. Every opponent has a different style, different books, and all of them behave different when changing ...

Re: Permanent Hash/Position Learning

1. Implement Romi Learning into Stockfish! It could potentially be 200 elo stronger than any opponent after a few thousand training games. The main elo would come from being ahead of the clock as Stockfish would learn what the opponent plays and just move instantly, deeper and deeper, what won in t...

Re: Chess World to Google Deep Mind..Prove You beat Stockfis

It should have to perceive that the match circumstances during games between A0 and Stockfish is an unimportant thing. The essence is the team of DeepMind have proved they can make a powerful system based on neural networks which can solve such complicated tasks like winning go and chess games agai...

Re: Chess World to Google Deep Mind..Prove You beat Stockfis

I think we are missing the only relevant point. It's not if they cheated or not, if it was fair of not, if it was scientific or not. It's not matter or believing or not. The "event" gave us an idea about an interesting and innovative approach with a revolutionary hardware. This is impacting a lot on...

Re: Chess World to Google Deep Mind..Prove You beat Stockfis

It'll be very interesting to see how LeelaCZero will work, with (possibly) thousends users sending their games to the server. It will work badly if at all. There are not enough computer chess enthusiasts in the whole world willing to donate time to make training even remotely viable. Even if...

Re: Chess World to Google Deep Mind..Prove You beat Stockfis

I thought an open letter by Stockfish Team was needed, because it's clear to many people that truth has been manipulated. But I understand it's not SF style to spend words. They reply with facts. It'll be very interesting to see how LeelaCZero will work, with (possibly) thousends users sending their...
