Here is a recent result of Carlos Canavessi till ID138, it also shows a significant regression. Oh no, any explanation why is this happening? Is it already a reason for concern or is it still OK? Sorry but what kind of "knowledge" is that when you have to perform at least 10k searches per second, i.e. probe 10k lines to reach 3000 Elo level??? Are you referring to the strength scaling graph in A0 paper? If so I guess that numbers you get depend on what rating you assign to Stockfish in that...

I thought tactical game was due to search(mainly) and not due to evaluation. I mean where did the tactical strength(the 95-99% of it anyway) of AlphaZero came from? From its training to recognize tactical patterns and deep variations or from its search to find them and see if they are correct? I do...

Very interesting. I think last game was the only one in which IM lovlas was winning during the match, but misplayed it in time-trouble and lost. On the other hand in game 5 leela-zero obtained elementary won rook endgame, but was unable to find a "lucena" winning plan and (somewhat surprisingly) mad...
