Re: Elements of the ULTIMATE Chess GUI?

It would be cutechess-cli with a GUI. So the current GUI of Cutechess but with extra options like seperate time controls for each engine.

Re: Stockfish based (ThothFishv1.0) Leela-Killer

I guess this confirms my suspicion that aggressively trading against NN engines (by an AB engine) is advantageous to the AB engine. Basically you have the positional stage when there are still a lot of pieces on the board and the tactical stage when there are few. And by shortening the positional st...

Re: How to make SF10 work for Arena 1.1 on the Raspberry Pi?

How about the first version of pi? Version 1.0 - 1core Still no chance? Roughly 20 kn/s according the poster below. Post was in August 2012, so sf_2.2.2 which has a CCRL of 3113 (SF10 is 3548), it was competitive with Anmon and SOS 5.1 on an i5-2405S CPU @ 2.50GHz. (Both engines can only use 1 core...

Re: How to make SF10 work for Arena 1.1 on the Raspberry Pi?

Is that the latest version 3? I wounder if that speed makes it possible for top GMs to play against SF, without odds. The pi3b. If you have the pi3b+ or overclock the old 3b you may squeeze a few dozen extra kn/s out of it. Stockfish would absolutely demolish any GM at that speed. Fritz 8 was beati...

Re: How to make SF10 work for Arena 1.1 on the Raspberry Pi?

I've tried sudo chmod +x "stockfish" but it hasn't changed anything.
The engine that came with Arena 1.1 for arm works fine.

Stockfish isn't recognized as anything and installing in Arena doesn't change anything. Dragging it in Arena doesn't make it work either.

How to make SF10 work for Arena 1.1 on the Raspberry Pi?

I've downloaded "Stockfish for Android" https://stockfishchess.org/download/ on the official site thinking as it's compiled for arm it would work on Armbian on the raspberry pi 3B but it seems like it doesn't. I've used the armv7 compile, then the armv8 compile when v7 didn't work and now I'm out of...

Did you uninstall your AMD drivers and install the Nvidia ones?
