Re: SSDF Rating List 2009-09-20

From here : http://wbec-ridderkerk.forumotion.com/wbec-ridderkerk-news-info-f1/stockfish-glaurung-t402.htm there will be a Stockfish 1.5 in the near future. May be it's better to wait for Stockfish 1.5 ! It should be released soon Smile Oh, it's not so bad, I mean very good, excellent, thanks for t...

Re: CyclonexTremeII: Stockfish1.4 40/10 14,5:19,5 (35/70

Looking at the Cyclone xTreme II games in my Division 1 tournament, the evaluations towards the end of the games against Twisted Logic and Scorpio would suggest that the egbbs are loading okay for me. Maybe you have a better bitbase weather in Auckland than I have in my little German village:) We n...

Re: SSDF Rating List 2009-09-20

Grand Prix of the Chess Engines: Here are the votes of the Swedish jury: Norway 12 points:) No no...,I tried only a little joke. The SSDF list is not ranking by votes but by games. Everyone can replay and analyze them. Thank you for the new list and for your long tradition of non commercial test wor...

CyclonexTremeII: Stockfish1.4 40/10 14,5:19,5 (35/70)

current standing: CyclonexTremeII(3) : Stockfish1,4x64 15.5 : 19.5 (44%:56%); lost-won-remis: 12-8-15 well, it's not easy testing a cyclone engine at all. One reason is that the author spits out one update after other and you can't finish any tournament with the same engine. Hello Norman, please sl...

Olivier and Leo have been burnt too many times wasting their cpu time testing clones, so their stance is perfectly understandable. Whereas I was also disappointed with the Crimson saga, I'm prepared to give Norm a final chance. In doing so, I realise that I stand to look rather foolish if he lets t...

Re: I moved the thread Cyclone xTreme Gauntlets

Merci Rainer :) Here you can read my policy toward clones and cloners : http://www.talkchess.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=22623 I hope you understand that as a tournament organizer I dislike clones and their authors. Actually this warning seemed to have some effect, I am getting much less clones in my...
