Knockout Format

Knockout event started with ten engines. Stockfish 2.0.1 has already defeated version 1.9.1 in the first preliminary-round match.

Ratings updated. Covers 756 games with a time control of 90 minutes each side. Principal variation included in game output. 7-Zip file can be downloaded (compressed, but still 5MB). Know sample size is small.

Agree.

Did post on the subject.

Stockfish and Critter accessed their own books as opposed to the Arena book assigned to others. But then Rybka used its own book, although limited to a maximum of 20 half-moves.
