Re: 8 core Swiss starting in about a week

Could you ask the spark author for 1.1? It would be great to see what it can do!

Thank You

Re: TCEC Season 6 - Stage 1a now live

Yes based on those ratings its close. Looking at LS rating list and a few others. You have Houdini which is top 3. Then Gull and Critter which are roughly 4th and 5th highest rated engines. Equinox, Cheng, and Texel which probably would crack the top 20 without much trouble. Hannibal at 21. (This is...

Re: TCEC Season 6 - Stage 1a now live

1a Looks like like the strongest group by a wide margin to me.

The other groups might be closer in skill so it might make for more exciting matches.

Re: TCEC Season 6 - Stage 1a now live

Ah I had to play with adblock and disconnect, for some reason the menu was not showing up, but I see it now.

Thanks for lists, looks like some great match ups!

Re: TCEC Season 6 - Stage 1a now live

When I go to this website. http://tcec.chessdom.com/live.php

I see no Menu.

I see TCEC next to it is Don Chess, and below that is the TCEC web GUI.

When I meant flights, I meant the engines in the 2nd group, and engines in the 3rd group etc.

Re: TCEC Season 6 - Stage 1a now live

I was looking for the rules to see how many engines advance, but did not see anywhere to click for rules.

Also I was looking for a way to see the other flights, but did not see them.

Thank you

The link I provided shows that 2+12 is the 4th most popular time control in FICS; there are mostly humans there. I think that this time control is t...

Re: Chess.com vs. Playchess.com vs ICC

1. Its free

2. you dont need an interface

3. its the first thing that comes up when you search chess

Not surprising they have more players.
