I clearly expected more after reading the title


1536 is clearly a low fide rating for a 16 years old player with fide rating of only 1536

many players at this age have clearly higher rating and I do not see how disability of being deaf is a significant restriction in chess.

There are thousands of chess players with higher fide rating than 1536 at age 16 or lower

I have to agree it is some kind of hype of the Indian newspaper involved. BTW he looks like the oldest 16 year old I have ever seen ;)
