What do you think about the design of the pieces in Musketeer Chess?

Leopard is good, but Cannon is not, it is like an industrial chimney. Something should be designed such that the muzzle is somewhat inclined.

Hi
Cannon is in fact less awsome than Leopard Elephant or Hawk. The latters are really master pieces.

In Classic Chess apart from the design of the Knight the other pieces are just good looking pieces. What makes the chess sets good looking is i think the fact that the majority respect the Staunton standards, which allow all of us to recognize the pieces easily. The design behind Musketeer Chess pieces is guided by those same purposes. Respect as much as possible Staunton Standards, have pieces original enough to be easily recognized.

Cannon Chancellor Archbishop could be used in already existing chess variants (Gothic, Xiangqi, Shogi, Capablanca, Camaratta)

Leopard looks also a bit like a Lion and could be used to customize your own chess variant.

Elephant and Hawk where also used in Seirawan Chess.

you'll find them here:
