Why quit (3)

This position costed me fifty euro. I played with black. I was not afraid of Nd6 for I could protect my pawn on b7 with the knight so I played f7-f6??
Actually I wanted to play Kd7 but I say my pawn on f7 was undefended.
After Nd6 I even played the illegal move Nd8 for I did not see my king was in check. So I lost the pawn on b7 and managed to loose the game.
Best way to save money with chess is too quit immediately.

Later in the game I played 61. Nc8 ?? Missing last chance for a draw. I could have drawn this game at least ten times or more some moves earlier. At the end of the game one person of tournament organization said "How is it possible that you could loose this end game"
[d] 8/4n3/2P3p1/1K2k2p/7P/8/5B2/8 b - - 0 61
Maybe opponent is my angstgegner. Last year I also lost the game against him in the final round. But then I had to win to get fifty euro.
"Only in it for the money"
