How many ELO go up with the upgrade 2007.1 ? I hope that CT7 knows that in the end games is better a bishop that a knight, and if are two better too... NOw only test version ct 2007

I say that because this day chess tiger 2007 are play a lot of games with a knight and lost... versus bishop or versys rooks ... maybe it´s my open book not is very good, ... but remenber this... question, I think that is important...

on other theme the analysis is very powerfull... go to 20 plys very fast. ¡¡¡

bye... ( good news for ct2007 )

edit: but YES.. CT2007 like a lot his knigts (horses) uhm the Aquiles´ ankle ? (check) ?

bye Christophe...

As far as I understand it the new version will update the old one - and then I've got the new version, but the old one is gone. Is there any possibility to keep the old version functional, too? And if so, would the Chessbase GUI (version HIARCS 10 without any server updates) accept both engines although they have identical names?

CT 2007 is a lot of more powerfull that previus CT15 and ct14... in the star position game...

after some seconds... (eval infinite )

CT007 plys near 18 plys ¡¡ and previus engine comes on14-15 plys...

This engine is more fast that previus... and analyze more Kn/s... maybe 20-30 % more of Kn/s.. on my system 600 Kn/s-900Kn/s...

on play versus other engine... the results on fast game not is perfect... maybe I must upgrade to 2007.1 ... I´m not sure ...

When I give more time for game... 7 minutes for game... Tiger can arrive to 18 plys. and his lives GO up very fast...

I´m continue test, and do a "macht" versus previus ct15 and ct14...

I think it's now pointless to test CT2007, please test CT2007.1.

I think you can just copy and paste the Tiger engine folder elsewhere in your computer and that should do the job. I'm note sure how it will work if you try to reinstall the old native engine in CP5.4 (because the new one has the same name in the engine list), but for UCI, pointing toward the folder with the old stuff should work.

Copying the folder work for UCI users. I just renamed the UCI module to 2007.1 and I am currently playing games. Everything looks good so far, as promised the time usage is much better.

I guess it just depends where a person is sitting and the equipment he has, but the easiest way for me is to just leave one version installed on one computer, and the other installed on my second computer.

Lazy man's way regards,
