Chess player: You are kibitzing at my table for 4 hours now. Wouldn't you rather play yourself?

A young inexperienced chess player asked his experienced colegue (international master) if chess is an art, sport or just a waste of time. The master replied: "When someone like Kasparov plays it, it's an art, when I play it, it's a sport, and when you play it, it's a waste of time."


Two friends in conversation
1st person: How come you don't play chess with your friend anymore?
2nd person: Would you play with a person that always takes back moves, is always argueing and blows smoke from his cigaretes right to your face?
1st person: No, of course not.
2nd person: Well, neither would he.
