Reminds me of my first chess computer except it wouldn't castle!
Hi Graham,

Well in game 1 we did have a castling issue and Mark had to do a quick bug fix. Hiarcs played 5.0-0 CC3 replied 5....0-0 then Hiarcs wanted to play the amazing move 6.0-0!!

So all was reset and a new game 1 played.

Best Wishes,

Harvey

I edited my post and I see that it is not clear that it is a draw in game 1

counting suggest the follow

1)Qc4 Re8 black to move
2)Qc4 Rh8 white to move
3)Qa2 Rh8 black to move
4)Qa2 Rf8 white to move
5)Qc4 Rf8 black to move
6)Qc4 Re8 white to move
7)Qa2 Re8 black to move
8)Qa2 Rh8 white to move
9)Qc4 Rh8 black to move
10)Qc4 Rg8 white to move
11)Qa2 Rg8 black to move
12=4)Qa2 Rf8 white to move
13=5
14=2
15=3
16)Qa2 Rg8 white to move
17)Qc4 Rg8 black to move

Now black can force a draw by 3 time repetition by going to position 2 or position 5 but it needs to write the move in order to do it.

Right again! Mark, Steve and I agreed on a draw as no progress was being made.

Hi Steve,

well, I don't know. There is no need to hurry, and many computers only need pictures. I wanted to do a video of the CC7 (as well as an animated gif of its eyes)) for a long time and the games of this morning remind me that.

Will think about it regards,
Alain

In the second game hiarcs could play 28...Rc1#

Are you sure there is no mistake in the pgn?
Uri,
as i wrote in my first post after the match...
in this game the CC3 was faced with immediate mate for several moves and yet played on courageously and without fear

in the face of certain annihilation it managed to think clearly and form a mating net of its own and then against all odds it delivered its own mate!

Calm and Collected Under Intense Pressure Regards

hi Harvey
i have to tell you...
it was pretty amazing to see Team Hiarcs work in perfect harmony like that

a bug is detected mid-game
Mark repairs the bug "on the fly"
then he emails you the fix
you then load it up and we are good to go!!

now THAT IS TEAMWORK Regards!
