Mr. Basham,

It is a Mate in 13. This on my Core Duo x2 E6850 Intel with 818 MB Hash tables using the 64bit Rybka 2.3 LK. The machine picked the winning move in about 20 seconds.

why some modules NOT ?

why it´s necesary REset the analisys and in this mode use the previus hast-table use...

In the first evaluation rybka say:

[Event "Blitz:4'+2""]
[Site "PRIVADA"]
[Date "????.??.??"]
[Round "?"]
[White "Chess Tiger 14.0"]
[Black "1977, PC-820D-OLI."]
[Result "*"]
[SetUp "1"]
[FEN "2r1k2B/1p3p2/p3p1p1/1b6/8/6QN/PPq3PP/4RR1K w - - 0 1"]
[PlyCount "19"]
[TimeControl "240+2"]

{Rybka 2.2n2 mp 32-bit :} 1. Rxf7 ({Rybka 2.2n2 mp 32-bit :} 1. Rxf7 Bc6 2. Rf2
Qc5 3. Rxe6+ Kd7 4. Rd2+ Bd5 5. Qe5 Rd8 6. Rxd5+ Qxd5 7. Qxd5+ Kc8 8. Qc5+ {
#13/20}) ({Rybka 2.2n2 mp 32-bit :} 1. Rxf7 Bc6 2. Rh7 Bxg2+ 3. Qxg2 Qxg2+ {
#11/20}) ({Chess Tiger 2007 AH:} 1. Rxf7 Bc6 2. Rf2 Bd5 3. Rxc2 Rxc2 4. Qxg6+
Kd7 5. Qxc2 b5 6. Qh7+ Kc8 7. Rc1+ Bc4 8. b3 {28.20/20}) 1... Bc6 2. Ng5 Bxg2+
3. Qxg2 Qxg2+ 4. Kxg2 Rc2+ 5. Kf3 Rc6 6. Bf6 Rd6 7. Rg7 Rd3+ 8. Re3 Rxe3+ 9.
Kxe3 a5 10. Nxe6 {#11/21} *

but.... in the secondary lines.. you can see that if I stop the engine and re start again... engine find a # more fast and in < plys... ???

some engines not see that ++... and others have errors and see # in 8 or 9 ... dificult position.

chess tiger 2007 in 512 MB see too...

Image

and need a lot of RAM.. I have 2gb and a DUAL intel 820D running in 3,5 Ghz...

Oliver, a little problem with the picture my friend. You claim that you are using Chess Tiger 14.0, but the picture says that you are using Chess Tiger 2007.
