It is also very strange that Scorpio quit at 44 seconds when I allocated 2000.

Yes something seems very strange - Maybe the position somehow fubarred the program ?

Also I wonder why almost no other programs choose Bb5(not that I think its an error or anything, just wonders me)

Since Scorpio doesn't support edit mode, it just thinks that it's evaluating the starting position.
