There are quite a few utilities that will eat a PGN file and spit out the EPD for it.

I have no idea how to use it. Can you help me out?? I tried to type commands in console mode, but it doesnt do anything.

pgn2epd < pgn_input_file.pgn > epd_output_file.epd
