Porucznik is available at polish chess forum: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/progszach/files/
However, only registered users can download the files...

Robin is (was?) available at http://www.robinchess.of.pl/

EGM is probably free available, but I don't know where to find it.

Joanna is available at

Tony Thomas wrote:Here is a slightly updated no play list...

AKIBA 0.0 (moves too slow and loses on time)
Apilchess (eternal pondering)
Arics 0.95 (does not move)
Dendron (frequent illegal moves)
Zchess 2 from Eamonn Ramsay (loses on time, 100% of the time)
If anyone knows any fixes for any of the above problems, let me know..Being weak is not a criteria for disqualification.

yes, there are so many engines that do not have necessary features, that's why i decided to limit my testing to something that plays legally without bugs and the one which has some features in it enough to play like a decent 2000's.

Being weak is not a bug you know.. There are many weak engines that plays perfectly legal, no loses on time, no crashes, no wrong mate claim etc. I am very leniant when it comes to losing on time, if an engine loses less than 10% of its games on time, I let it play, anything more, it gets the goat. Also, I do not mind adjusting time controls for engines that doesnt play incremental time controls (chad's chess comes to mind). I guess by the time I am done (most likely by next year), you will have an idea on which engines to avoid, since we play the same time controls.

Hi Tony,

Could you please add versions too?

Like:

Akiba 20031118

Apilchess 1.01, 1.04, 1.05r1, 1.05r1a, 1.05r1b

Arics 0.95

Bachess 1.2, 1.3

Dendron 0.42 JA + does not move as black

Gringo 1.4.0, ..., 1.4.9

Zchess 2 from Eamonn R... + annoying compiler message while starting

Best,

Best,
The only reason I didnt do that is because I assumed that people would think I am using the latest version..I will do so from the next update.
