Out of curiosity I would like to know how the Arena people have gotten Fritz 12 and are currently "reporting bugs" on it? The public availability for F12 is in the future not in the past BTW.

Hi,

If you would have read the postings carefully instead of trolling around you would have noticed that I have only asked if the bugs from previous version are still present in the current version which has already been released.

Also I can assure you that I got some screenshots and bugreports. More later, just have to sort them.

Wow 6 (six) threads on Fritz on the 1st page alone. One thread started by one of the Arena people sticks out like a sore thumb. He talks about Fritz 13 as well as Fritz 20 ....
Fritz Enthusiast wrote:What we can tell you for sure is that with the Fritz 13 interface the menue will be twice as wide, they will once again improve the Alpha-Beta Algorithm and also modern composers wil be included as background music. With version 20 the board will be 2x2 cm all the place will be used by menues ...
Seems a bit bizarre really.

One thing I don't understand - why do the Arena people oppose Fritz/Chessbase? If it was another commercial GUI then one can deduce that they are seeing dollar symbols but why should the makers of something from a different market give a toss. According to the marketing men, Arena and Chessbase are in two different markets so there should be no animosity from the Arena people.

Now that Deep Shredder 12 is out I wonder if the Arena people will be posting bugs and telling us which features are in Shredder 13 and Shredder 20?

Hi,

You can try the same postions I posted for Fritz for Shredder too. Did you think about it ? The positions are suitable for testeing any engine. Did you think about that ? No?

Did you try the CDS Testsuite ? No ? Pitty

You are juat a jealous peon because the developers of Fritz give and release their program to the Arena people as well as information about future plans. Get over it.
And for your information and I hope your brain is large enough to handle it the difference between Arena and Chessbase is that Arena is FREE.
