See the games arising out of Sicilian Scheveningen and Sicilian Najdorf. Also, games from early exchange in Queens Gambit. (d4 d5, c4 e6, cxd5)

Focusses mostly on Minority Attack.

I currently check my archiv, esp. midgame and tactics books.

My first finding :

Ch 14 of Euwe-Kramer, the middlegame covers this topic with 12 games.

Last month's column by Nigel Davies on Chesscafe.com was about the minority attack. I believe it was his first piece on the site. The file has just gone to the archives so you need Acrobat Reader but a .pdf is a good way to store on your computer. It seemed a good introduction to the idea. I do believe I have a book I bought once dealing solely with minority attacks but must confess I did not get around studying it. I don't know if it was very good. The books from Euwe are excellent although the games will not be up to date with opening theory etc.

place. Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you
are, by definition, not smart enough to debug it.

Hi all,

Thank you for all your kind help.

It was after I have read the book, Modern Chess Strategy by Pachman that I am looking for more materials (more advanced) on minority attack.

Yours sincerely,

Pachman's classic openings book: http://www.amazon.com/Ideas-Behind-Ches ... 0812917561 - has a basic discussion and some examples. But it is very out of date re specific variations.
