I am weary of reading these threads about the unmentionable engine. I am not clever enough to know (as I am not a programmer) if the said engine is indeed a clone of Rybka. I will not use said engine (the "clone") if indeed it is pirated. However there is much debate here as to the truth of the matter. Ergo is it possible that we could get a poll of the programmers only perhaps that state that the engine is a clone or not? I shall personally let the majority decide for me. I have no desire to use an illegal product.

I am not, as you, clever enough, so I scarcely understand those reasons about cloning and then I will get ippolit where I can find it without remorse. Anyway I purchase the commercial stuff to everyone in the trade, so I have, let us say, an special permission.

How would you ensure that only a specific group of people votes in pole?

Yes that is an issue ...programmers only that is.... Ihave no answer. Another point. I will buy R4 regrdless so Vas will get my money anyway even if I were to use ippolit etc. I just desire to not 1) use pirated software and 2)not discourage a perhaps legitimate program! Something of a quandary ....

Maybe we should talk about the one that is stroinger than
the one you mentioned. But could also be a clone.
