What are the scores for each Grades (A,A+,B...)? I don't see any info in your homepage.

Hi Don

I have one question I hope you can answer me. Does Doch support SMP, or is it single core engine ?

At the moment it is single core - but it won't always be that way. I designed it to eventually be SMP.

Reason I am asking is because I am running it now on my (i7 920) VS 4-core Toga ( 60+1) and it is holding its own, for a single core that is.. after 24 moves the game is about equal with Doch beeing a little better out of the oppening
Thanks for the great engine.

Just a couple questions:

Will the Doch source code ever be available?
Will Doch ever go commercial :( (Possibly to pay Larry)?

Peter

BTW Good luck to Doch, it's in a tourney with HIARCS, Spark, Critter, and Twisted Logic. 3/0 blitz; yeah it's short but I don't have a lot of free CPU time right now :(

I don't know if I will release the sources but there is nothing that is really that much of a secret. It's something I might consider if I don't go commercial.

It's possible that doch will go commercial but it's not clear there is any money in computer chess unless you are in the top 2 or 3 and I'm not real sure about that. If doch gets there it would be nice to be able to work on chess full time instead of working for the man :-)
