Q: Time Control Adaptation

Post by beachknight »

The first question is simple. I am doing some engine blitz pre-tests
with my intel quad. TC is 5+1 (Crafty 231 PS bench: around 10 mN).
I am wondering corresponding TCs in following machines:

Prescott (2 cores) : ?

Octa (type?) : ?

Secondly:

What would be the most effective TCs for the three?

An Octa achieved between 20mN and 23mN

The best Timecontrol must everyone decide for themselves.

Yes, I may use 1+1 on quad and 2+2 on dual.

Arena 2.0.1 Mark:

Prescott (dual): around 10
Intel Quad: around 20

So: 10+2 = 5+1 = ???

:?
