Relax everyone....it won't be long until Vasik announces this engine to be a stolen Rybka 5 source code and send his faithful dog named Rolf to annoy us and fill our heads with fat lies....

While Searching high and low looking for a copy of the famous/infamous chess engine TobyTal (Toby Deep Tactics 7.5) chess program... a phone # was posted in the thread.....on a lark called the number...guess who answers the phone Tim Tobiason......discussed the Toby Chess issue......Mr Tobiason stands by his claims that he and his brilliant programming team has used tablebases to "solve chess" and that chess was "solvable"and he was surpised that it has not been figured out 100% by now.....Mr Tobiason has gotten out of the chess business completely and refuses to sell the Toby Chess Deep tactics system....but was willing to sell entire harddrives full of his software for a couple hundred bucks. Mr. Tobiason stated that many copies of Toby chess (and the Toby Tal chess engine) are floating around publicly and that his Serpent chess engine code is still incredibly strong and is in the possesion of his former programmer (name unknown)...quite an interesting character is Mr Tobiasson!!

Yes my discussion with Mr Tobiason was quite a unforgettable experience! lol!

How soon we forget, do a history search on tobychess and you will find what you are looking for .... You will see the post and the stories behind this program.
