Happy to help when able. Others help me out at times too.

Changing the subject, are we likely to see a new version of Sage anytime soon? I'd love to include it in my amateur series! :P

Cheers,
Graham.

_No one can hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard you can hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward….

True, but it's nice to know how things are going or whether development has ceased. :P

Thanks for asking, Graham, but development has ceased, due to a stroke. :(
I am content to just testing engines now, i still enjoy doing that.

Sorry to hear Dave. :(
Look after yourself and enjoy testing the engines.

Thanks
In my opinion, Grapefruit 1.0 is the strongest Toga derivative, slightly ahead of Toga II 1.4.1SE.
If you can't find links to downloads, I'll happily put them in the CCRL public forum for you. Just let me know.

Cheers,
Graham.
David,

Just chanced upon the forum as I'm usually away from computerchess for a while. Elections brings me back here  !

Though there has not been any continuous tests with Grapefruit at CCRL, I'm also convinced with what Graham stated. Grapefruit 1.0 is possibly the strongest released version and some Cyclone versions. But CCRL lists Toga 1.4.1 SE (at 4 cores) as the highest ranked at 40/40 form the tested versions.

Toga development is still in progress from our site. http://www.computerchess.info/tdbb/phpBB3/index.php
But I haven't seen a big improvement yet. A lot has changed in the code from the latest attempts by William "Bill" Mowery Jr. The JD and SE versions are not that active for a while.

I'll email/pm you if ever I find a possible candidate.

Denis
