"Promotion" of engines in CCC.

So the site sponsor does not want any engines "promoted" in CCC that Graham hates, right ?

If that persists, my days as CCC member are counted.

Matthias.

I do not hope that this is so!

My days would be counted here!

Better then I open a separate board
and then write about chess that I want,
and of course with interesting analyses, etc.

(German: So wie man es von mir kennt!)

I am since 2000 a CCC member.

I agree with Matthias completely concerning Graham and his opinions. John Karger

It has nothing to do with Graham, so I'm not sure what the deal is.

Mr Banks seems to me to act as a promoter/have implicit faith in at least 3 “deities”.

Mr Banks seems to me to act as a promoter/mouthpiece for at least 3 “deities”........................

2 of those 3 “deities” certainly did not contact the site sponsor to seek for the censorship.

Matthias.

I personally fail to see the problem. The issue of ethics is of considerable importance here - namely the theft of intellectual property -hotly debated to be sure- and a person'(s) lively hood. There is a discussion of the clone engines in other area's of this forum which seems a reasonable solution to me.... Perhaps I am not understanding the problem?

True. It was probably the companies the site sponsor works with.

I assumed that to be the case. You have incorrectly identified the "deities" to whom I was referring. I am fully aware of the views of the other two CCC moderators and neither of them was included in the list.
