with less than 80 games to go (out of 1900 against top competition) houdini is plateauing around ~3010 elo.
it is now clear it will be not only the new leader of the list but leader by a substantial margin of at least 50 elo. congratulations to robert houdart & much thanks for this incredible free engine.

IPON was set up with an artificially low basemark of 2800 for shredder 12. of course shredder 12 is likely at least 100 elo points higher than that. the current leader is rybka 4 at 2953, followed by houdini 1.03 at 2949. testing is done on one core each a time control of 5 min + 3 sec incremement.

It appears that the gap over R4 is almost identical to the gap between R3 and R3. This is remarkable.
