Hi Ted,

that is 7,5 out of 12 = 62,5 %

My match has finished with Houdini 1.5 as winner with 64%
Bram-PC, TC 60m each at my AMD 6x 1090T 4 core each, privat testsuite

1 Houdini 1.5 x64 +19/=26/-5 64.00% 32.0/50
2 Deep Rybka 4 x64 +5/=26/-19 36.00% 18.0/50

so yet another increase from 62 at 12m8s to 64 % at 1 hour each as a longer time control

So after 3m2s 58%; 6m4s 60%; 12m8s 62 % now 64% for Houdini 1.5 at one hour each
This Houdini 1.5 rocks !

games can be downloaded at: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ST0MVPV1

I adjudicated three games where score was above 2,5 for both and two for a draw where no progress could be made with Qvs2R and Qvs B+R and two games for a draw in a B90 long openingline position which always ends in a draw, even at blitz time control.

Have a nice Christmas

Bram : I have been following your assessment of Houdini 1.5 with some interest and am keen to do some tests with it. I've downloaded it but don't know how to get it up and running. Could you explain how?It would be much appreciated. I have Rybka 4, Shredder 8 and Chessmaster 10 loaded on my computer.
Thanks, Allan.

Thanks, Allan.
download Houdini from the webpage: Http://www.cruxis.com/chess/houdini.htm

Unpack the download and copy the right executable in the engines folder of your chess-gui, for instance your Shredder10 program folder ../engines. Than load it as an UCIengine in your chessgui. Eventually look in your manual or Helpfile how to do this.
Good Luck

Houdini has just Won the Match (+6 =10 -1) at long Time controls ("40/7200 : 20/3600 : 1800"). Now the only thing that remains to be seen is if Deep Rybka can improve it's score in the last 3 games.

Against Houdini, Deep Rybka 4 has been playing like a true fish! Now if only I could play as well as this fish, but at last I am just fish bait against these things.

Just 3 games remaining. I will post a pgn of the games when completed.
