I have contacted ICD/Your Move about the domain expiration issue - most of you will know it is solved when you are able to read this message.

Thanks,

With a modification in address. It seems http://talkchess.com/forum/index Doesn't work.

http://74.220.23.57/forum/index.php Does work.

Never had a problem here. http://www.talkchess.com/forum/index.php worked all the time.

I guess you saw a cached version(?), because the domain really expired.
Currently you can only get access via the IP.

I emptied the caache before I replied and I still don't have a problem. However, it's not really my business.

You are both right: the domain name has expired yesterday, but Volker's internet provider's just didn't update this IP's name yet. If you change your DNS for Google's or other fast ones (like mine: Free's), going to www.chesstalk.com will just lead you to godaddy.com.

I sent this address out to the mods and others who contacted me via e-mail yesterday; I didn't post it here because the only way to read these posts is to already know it.

As a stopgap you could for free and in 30 seconds set up a dyndns domain name: talkchess.dyndns-ip.com. Chk out dyndns.com.
