Rybka and engines based or RE Rybka are by far the strongest engines in opening play, in tactics, in middle game play and in endgame play. This is further confirmed by chess 960 results. I think that pretty much covers all aspects of chess. It doesn't mean that it is perfect in every single position ... no engine is ... but it sure is the engine where most GM's would look at if they want to know the truth in a position.

This is the exact reason for the showtrial and proposed Crucifixion.

Was dosen't somebody post a download link to the original Rybka, the bad engine before rybka 1.0 beta. We can all download it and ahve some fun.
