Hi,
this is my first attempt for a Linux compile of Critter. It is meant to be treated as a beta.

Re: Critter 1.0 for Linux
Thank you!
So far I've only been able to test the 32-bit version on 1cpu and it seems to work okay, though slower than the windows version.

I downloaded it and am running the 64-bit version in SCID and it works fine from what I can tell so far!rvida wrote:Hi,

Awesome, thanks. The 64-bit (non-sse42) version seems to get measurably better search speeds than the 32-bit Windows version, and is clearly faster to start.

Sweet.
A short 3 sec/move tournament against Shredder Classic 4 ran smoothly here (3-1/2 out of 5).

A Mac OS X binary would be greatly appreciated too.

On Mac Os X, can't you open up a terminal shell which is basically Linux, and run the program?
