i wish it was that easy...

PS - i changed version # to 2.1

i think 2.01 is an ugly number, sorry...just couldn't live with it!
and i don't care for 2.0a à la Houdini (wih all due respect of course)!

While analyzing, it does not display the move it is pondering, could this be fixed? Thanks.

One other thing, could you provide a brief explanation of the parameters?

Just noticed this was a UCI option that was off by default, so nevermind.

Frank Quisinsky wrote:Hi Wael,

remember:
Your Fire 1.1 settings are 10 ELO weaker as Fire 1.31 under SWCR conditions. 4 of this 10 ELO comes from a very high draw quote. 5% more as Fire 1.31. Tested after 1.000 SWCR games. Calculated with Bayesian, draws are here more important compare to ELOstat.

But ...
More passiv = better in blitz.
Possible that your setting with extrem short time controls are better as Fire 1.31. Absolutly possible!

Frank

I think the results can be found in TalkChess tournament selection. The games I deleted later from my rating list.
Hi Frank,
Thanks for the info....

I test at long time controls relatively, that is 20 minutes + 20 seconds increment running on overclocked i7 system and it's still way ahead in my rating list....

I've played near 800 games with very good results but of course even these 800 games are not enough to show small Elo difference :D
