I am disappointed I bought three different versions of rybka. better to support real programmers. I now own shredder and hiarcs and will not use rybka

I do not think you have the right to ask for a refund.
You should definitely demand Rybka's source code though as per the GPL license. :)

It's a little complex. I wish some of the money had gone to fabien l
And some to vas. That seems fair. I did buy fruit 2.2 as well but
Regrettably fabien did not make enough to stay in the game

Reason being, Rybka did not break any laws. It is computer program!
