I let Prédateur pounder this for a pair of minutes and it sticks to h5. Just like Komodo, Fruit and Stockfish (didn't try other engines on my Mac).

What would your engine play?
Crafty-23.4 gets it:

Robbolito_0085g3w32 (so it's single core), which is one of my favourite engines, takes 1 minute and 10 seconds to find the solution in a Core 2 Duo E6750 at 2.66 Ghz.

Nice find by Robbo in some "ancient" hardware and single core usage.

This is a Windows machine (I'm at job). I'll try this tonight on my iMac to see which engine solves it quicker. I bet Igorrit will do it :-)

Zappa with Mate extensions enabled gets it quickly. If I have the patience, I'll let Zapal look at this with default settings:

I let Prédateur pounder this for a pair of minutes and it sticks to h5. Just like Komodo, Fruit and Stockfish (didn't try other engines on my Mac).

What would your engine play?
