Hi. I do not have 6 man table base. I do have 3-4-5 man tablebase. I was also shocked by these results.

Hi John,

that's impressive, do you do a table base lookup. ice is finding the KxR move rather quickly

info depth 3 seldepth 52 time 62 nodes 20492 pv b2b3 a1a2 b3b2 a2a1 b2c2 a1b1 c2b2 b1a1 b2b4 a1a2 b4b2 a2a1 b2b5 a1a2 b5b2 a2a1 b2b6 a1a2 b6b2 a2a1 b2b7 a1a2 b7b2 a2a1 b2d2 a1b1 d2b2 b1a1 b2e2 a1b1 e2b2 b1a1 b2f2 a1b1 f2b2 b1a1 b2g2 a1b1 g2b2 b1a1 g7h8 a3c4 b2c2 a1b1 nps 330516 score cp 602 hashfull 1 tbhits 15

but it is not able to see up to the the mate as it does not access table bases.

I infer that his engine accesses 5-man tablebases. See http://talkchess.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 44&t=40005

True. Even with the extensions, without access to the tablebases Myrddin would probably not announce mate in my lifetime. :D
