Has Richard discussed this "OpenCritter" engine elsewhere? What is its relation to Critter?

As far as I understand his statement in the programmer section of Talkchess, this is a derelict branch of Critter that was developed between the last official pascal version of Critter (Critter 0.6?) and its rewrite in C. Richard also stated that it was inspired by Robbolito.
