The benchmark has no search output but there is a progress bar. On my 1090T it takes about 2'30" to complete.

Received Chiron tonight!
First test started for CEGT 40/20

Chiron 1.0 x64 1CPU - Fritz 13

What do you suggest Ubaldo: using default or using endgame tbs (never, only at root, everywhere?)

Werner
I usually use 5 pieces Scorpio bitbases loaded in RAM and 5 pieces tablebases probed only at root.
If you don't want or can't use bitbases, everywhere is fine.

Good Morning Ubaldo,
as the lists usually test with default - this could be default for your engine with next update (or an official suggestion).
Critter e.g. uses endgame tbs only at root as default.

best wishes

Also Ingo reported crashes while using bitbases. It's strange because I've been using them for a long time without any problem.
Was it working fine with Nalimov tablebases?
For the moment, please, don't use bitbases.

Hi Ubaldo,
Nalimov and Gaviota tbs are working fine here.

3/4 men egbb (new ones) are working too till now (no crashes)

Loading time for 5men egbb are too long here for tournaments (same with Scorpio).

Hi Werner !

Why not SMART_LOAD option for Scorpio egbb (the most used egbbs) + Gaviota/Nalimov tbs ?
Works fine here , on my quad !

What you mean Gabor? Are you also having crashes with TBs and BBs? What GUI are you using?
