The tournament went ahead, with 8 participant. The CSVN webmaster, who normally attends the tourney, had pressing business elsewhere, though. Usually he is there, and updates the website during the tourney. This is why there are no results on the website yet.

After a round-robin of 75+0 games over two days, The final ranking was:

1. Pandix
2. Spark
3. Pro Deo
4. The King
5. Spartacus
6. Arminius
7. Kallisto II
8. Gadget

Apart from Pro Deo, the authors of all programs were present at least part of the time. So there was plenty of opportunity for discussion and exchage of ideas. All in all it was a very pleasant experience.

There will be a next tournament (ICT) in spring, which, and as usual the opportunity will be also used for the yearly gathering of members, to vote on disbanding the CSVN.

Looks like Jan and Hans Secelle are no longer on the board.

Well, all I can tell is that Hans Secelle was there to operate Pro Deo, and they expected Jan Krabbenbos to fix the website when he would have time. This was a Chess, event, we did not disuss board matters.
